Security

The sliding panel is mounted to the inside of the fixed pane, thus preventing removal from the outside. A fully mortised stainless steel lock engages an adjustable stainless steel strike plate with a stainless steel backing plate for strength and security.

Strength

American Sliding Door's products are designed to meet or exceed the rigid requirements for commercial certification. Tests are performed to measure air and water infiltration, structural integrity and operability. The pressure used for the structural test on the standard configuration of the 6000 door , is equivalent to wind loading of over 130 miles per hours ( twice the load required to meet a residential specification ) . Structural integrity is provided by the 4 1/2 " deep frame with tubular members at the interlocking and lock stiles.

Durability

All components of American Sliding Door's products are carefully selected from the finest available. Anodized frame finishes are virtually colorfast. When a painted finish is supplied , only a high quality architectural grade coating with a minimum life expectancy of twenty years , will be used.

Duo-Pane insulating glass units , manufactured by Western Insulated Glass and used in our products, are regularly tested under the strict standards of SIGMA ( Sealed Insulating Glass Manufacturers Association ) and are warranted against seal failure. Duo-Pane units surpass test levels " C" and "B" , attaining the highest possible " A " rating

Operation

Opening and closing is virtually effortless. Smooth, quiet and long lasting operation is assured by American Sliding Door's dual- Tandem stainless steel ball-bearing rollers. The comfortable handle and lock combination works easily with one hand.

Aside from any guarantees offered by manufacturers, we provide a 10 year service contract for new doors, windows, mirrored closet doors, and screen doors recommended and installed by us, and we guarantee all repair or service work.

We replace doors and windows with little or no damage to exterior stucco walls and little or no damage to interior wallpaper, moldings or drywall.

We do everything necessary to keep your home neat at clean. Vacuum cleaners, dust pans , brooms , drop cloths and glass cleaners are tools of our trade.
